Linda is a 1979 graduate of SIU's College of Education where she is current doctoral candidate with a concentration in reading and language studies. Linda has worked for more than 25 years with the Carbondale Elementary School District #95. Her teaching experiences include middle school learning and behavioral disabilities, grades 1 and 3, Title I reading and reading recovery. Linda is the current principal at Thomas Elementary School. She and her husband, Carl '75 '93, have two children: Courtney and Cameron. Linda is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the Carbondale Public Library 5-Year Plan Committee. She has been involved with BAG since its inception serving as its first Vice President, two terms as BAG Secretary and a member of several reunion committees.
